Frequently Asked Questions

dotted line

This is a short list of our most frequently asked questions. If you need more information about MediqTrans, please feel free to contact us via our various online support channels.

How do I request for a translation quotation?

If your document(s) required for translation are ready on-hand, simply email us at askme@mediqtrans.com and attach your document(s) to the email. We will treat your document(s) in the strictest confidence, using them solely for the purpose of generating our quotation to you.

How soon can I expect my translation quotation to be ready?

Upon email receipt of your documents (original editable source formats preferred, please check here for supported document formats) before 12pm Singapore time, you can expect to receive our quotation on the same day. If your documents are received after 12pm, our quotation will be sent before 12pm the next working day. (Note: slight extensions are expected if the document size, or the number of documents, is large)

How soon does translation take?

We understand that the need for medical translations is always urgent! We aim to go as fast as possible, but not to the point where translation quality is compromised! Generally, we produce 1600-1800 words a day per translator, per language. Different languages are translated simultaneously. Depending on your document format and condition, and the technicality of medical content, we may allocate some additional time before and after translation, for post-translation document layout and additional QA as required. Please let us know in advance if you have any targeted completion date.

When do you invoice me, and what are your payment terms?

Our invoices are directed to you (as the translation requestor) unless you advise us otherwise, and they are emailed immediately once delivery of your translated document(s) is performed. Payment needs to be completed within 1 month from the invoice date

What payment currencies do you accept?

Our quotations are in US dollars by default, and we accept both US dollars, as well as Singapore dollars. We accept payments by either telegraphic bank transfers or cheques. Our bank account is registered in Singapore, and our bank account details will be listed in our invoices to you.

We have a question that’s not covered in this FAQ, is there a number that we call you?

You may liaise with your assigned MediqTrans Project Manager for calls. For all other enquiries, drop us a mail (we answer very quickly!) or connect with us through our online chat.

Do you accept rushed projects?

By default we strive to complete all projects as quickly as possible, without compromise to our quality of translation. If you have any targeted completion date, let us know and we’ll try our best to help! If we can expedite further, we will, and there will NEVER be any additional fees. To us it’s all about feasibility, and unlike other providers we never believe in penalizing our customers.
